After deciding that the winter front door decoration needed to come down, permanently this time....It's been taken down, placed on the kitchen table (that we rarely use) and left there until I clean the house and I hang it back up on the front door....I needed a new decoration, something Spring-y and Easter themed.
Since the winter decoration was so easy, and super inexpensive, to make I decided to do something very similar again.
My supplies...scissors, some glue, a few eyelet screws from the hardware store and the ribbon, foam Easter eggs and floral wire I found at the Dollar Tree. 
First I started by using the knife to score the dowels attached to the eggs so I could break them off. Then I put some glue on the screws, to hold them in place, and screwed them into the eggs. 
Next, I made the big bow, that the eggs would hang from..
Then I cut some different lengths of ribbon and tied an egg to either end of each one.
Finally I gathered all the ribbons together, layered them so they hung just right and using the floral wire attached them to the large bow. All that was left was to hang it on the door.
Overall, It only took about forty minutes from start to finish and now I've got a sweet looking door decoration I get to enjoy over the next month.
